Who are we?

About Time for Justice (ATFJ) was co-founded by a father and son who have lived experience with institutional abuse and have both served time in the prison system and therefore understand the effects of this on one’s life. We recognise that many people who find themselves at the end of this road have not been given an opportunity to have a voice. We hope to be the support and strength that you need to be able to share your story and get your voice back. 

What do we do?

We provide personalised support and advocacy to help survivors address the impacts of abuse and seek justice. Our team provides confidential support and connects survivors with resources to aid in their journey to justice and healing.

Our services include:

• Support for Institutional Abuse Survivors: If you've suffered abuse in an Australian institution (including but not limited to juvenile justice centers, private or church-run institutions, medical institutions, schools, and childcare centers), we strive to create a safe space for you to share your story and access support and resources.

• Support for Other Potential Matters: Including but not limited to; stolen generation reparations, superannuation total permanent disability, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, medical negligence and more.

• Comprehensive Care: Our Care Team provides support throughout the whole process, including appointment reminders, non-legal updates, and a listening ear. 

• Resource Connection: We connect you with vital resources to aid in your recovery and healing journey.

• Advocacy: We advocate for swift resolution and fair outcomes.

We strive to create a safe space for you to share your story and access the support and information you need. While we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, we guarantee unwavering support and access to all necessary information throughout the process.
