Behind bars to completing a law degree

Richard Brooking, who spent time behind bars for manufacturing drugs, spoke to Jacob Little about his tough upbringing, being caught for manufacturing drugs and deciding to turn his life around.

Incredibly, Richard went on to study law. He said he chooses to use his life experiences to help others live their best life. Richard is also the the managing director of his adopted family’s social justice and land conservation foundation charity.

The charity has constructed premises for community groups to run drug, alcohol, and community integration services and provided grants for local conservation and first nations projects. You can listen to the Survivor stories podcast episode here.
